In Nakhon Si Thammarat, independent candidate Warin Chinnawong won with 264,149 votes, surpassing incumbent Kanokporn Dechdecho’s 237,173 votes. The outcome indicates a shift in local political preferences, as the Democrat Party’s longstanding influence in the province faced a challenge.
