Lisa, the Thai member of the popular K-pop girl group Blackpink, has shown her love for Nongpho milk, a local brand produced by a dairy cooperative in Ratchaburi province. In a video clip posted on her Instagram account on May 23, 2023, Lisa can be seen drinking a carton of Nongpho low-fat milk and saying “นมหนองโพ นมโคแท้แท้ 100% อร่อยมาก” (Nongpho milk, 100% pure cow milk, very delicious) with a smile.
The clip, which has over 50 million views and 10 million likes, has sparked a surge in demand for Nongpho milk products, especially among Lisa’s fans. According to Mr. Thanaphon Wongwattanasit, the chairman of Nongpho Dairy Cooperative, the sales of Nongpho milk have increased by three times since Lisa’s endorsement. He said that he was very grateful to Lisa for promoting Nongpho milk and supporting Thai farmers.
Nongpho Dairy Cooperative is a social enterprise that was established in 1975 under the royal patronage of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It aims to improve the quality of life of dairy farmers and produce high-quality milk products for consumers. Nongpho milk is made from 100% pure cow milk and has various flavors such as plain, sweetened, chocolate and honey. Nongpho milk also has a special formula that contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are beneficial for health.
Lisa is not the only celebrity who enjoys Nongpho milk. Other famous personalities who have expressed their preference for Nongpho milk include actor Mario Maurer, singer Palmy and comedian Udom Taephanit.
