BAAC Market bringing quality agricultural products across the country to customers in central Bangkok, August 27-29

The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC) is gathering leading farmers, communities, and agricultural entrepreneurs to select premium, high-quality products, delivered directly from over 50 farms in the heart of Bangkok, directly to consumers at the BAAC Market, themed “BAAC Agricultural Products Caravan,” from August 27-29 at the BAAC Headquarters in Bangkok.

Mr. Paisal Hongthong, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), revealed that the BAAC Market, themed “BAAC Agricultural Products Caravan,” aims to create a platform for BAAC customer farmers and community enterprises, representing over 50 shops, to distribute premium, fresh, high-quality, locally unique products directly to consumers.

In addition to providing farmers with a marketing channel and increasing their incomes, the BAAC aims to provide customers with convenient access to carefully selected products from farmers nationwide. To be gathered in one place at this event, consisting of:

• Local food and beverage zone: Mae Ploy chili paste from Phetchaburi Province, including Khao Soi and Nam Ngiao, fragrant with the aroma of original curry paste and mellow taste, served with many chili paste recipes such as Nam Phrik Num, Nam Phrik Ta Daeng, Krua Murni, and Khao Mok Gai from Narathiwat Province, the original Muslim recipe, authentic Halal, fragrant with spices, special recipe carefully prepared to achieve a unique taste;

• Busabong Kai Yang Khao Suan Kwang from Khon Kaen Province, the legend of deliciousness from the Isan region, featuring famous dishes such as Khao Suan Kwang grilled chicken with thin, crispy skin and soft meat, delicious som tam, and grilled pork neck with jaew sauce; and W.S.C. Tham Rong Community from Phetchaburi Province, three-flavor sauce or Tal Sa, with the sour taste of Rampai lime, thin skin, lots of juice, combined with the sweet, fragrant aroma of palm sugar, and a perfectly salty taste;

• Processed products: W.S.C. Bang Khae Samakkhi Farmers’ Housewives Association from Samut Songkhram Province, souvenir products from Amphawa District, such as banana chips, dried mango, palm sugar cake, and crispy rolled gold.

• Baan Ton Lamduan Community, Rayong Province, selects fresh seafood from fishing grounds for you to taste, such as dried squid, dried shrimp, seasoned fish floss, and a special, rich seafood chili paste.

• Chaithara Mushroom Crackers from Chachoengsao Province, made from 100% authentic, high-quality shiitake mushrooms, are fragrant, delicious, crispy, and fun to chew.

• Handmade products and workshops: JIIRA Stone, Bangkok: Handmade jewelry crafted by hand using genuine auspicious stones, with contemporary designs to enhance your luck and boost positive energy. Baan Chang Ta Klang Tourism Community, Surin Province, showcases handcrafted ivory jewelry, a symbol of purity, auspiciousness, and charisma that is hard to find. Enjoy making DIY refrigerator magnets, allowing attendees to have fun and be creative by creating various designs on refrigerator magnets that they can take home.
