Deputy Government Spokesperson Sasikarn Watthanachan has announced that the government, through the Government Housing Bank (GH Bank), is continuing the “Khun Soo Rao Chuay” (You Strive, We Support) Phase 2. The project, which assists vulnerable debtors by expanding eligibility criteria and extending the registration period until September 30, has already seen participation from over 97,000 accounts.

According to Sasikarn, the campaign is open to clients with a credit limit not exceeding 5 million baht who signed their contract before January 1, 2024. Eligible participants include debtors with no outstanding payments or arrears not exceeding 30 days. This also includes debtors who have previously undergone debt restructuring since January 1, 2022, or those with arrears over 365 days as of October 31, 2024. Participants are required not to incur new debt within the first 12 months, with exceptions for necessities such as home repairs due to natural disasters or essential recovery loans.

Interested individuals can register through three channels: the website www.bot.or.th/Khunsoo, the GHB ALL GEN application, and the GHB ALL BFRIEND application. For more information, please contact any GH Bank branch nationwide, call 0-2645-9000, or visit the GH Bank Facebook page.

Sasikarn stated that the project is a crucial measure to reduce debt burdens and provide opportunities for people to overcome financial difficulties with stability. She affirmed that the government stands by all groups of people and will continue to promote financial assistance measures to ensure that every Thai family has a home and an improved quality of life.
