Applying for an online business registration will get you a 50% fee reduction

        Applying for a partnership or limited company registration online through the electronic registration system (e-Registration) is convenient and fast. It helps increase the convenience and speed of the business sector and reduces the cost of applying for registration.

        The Ministry of Commerce Thailand has set fee rates, and in some cases has reduced the fee and waived the registration fee, for processes such as document verification request, request for a copy of the document with testimonials, and other fees related to partnerships and limited companies, with effect from 1 January 2021.

The rates are set as follows:

        1. 1,000 baht for partnership registration;

        2. 500 baht for registration of Memorandum of Association Limited;

        3. 5,000 baht for registration of a limited company.

        4. The merger registration is divided into the following types:

4.1. 1,000 baht for partnership;

4.2. 5,000 baht for registration of a limited company.

5. 5,000 baht for registration and conversion of a registered partnership or limited partnership to a limited company;

6. Registration of one or more of the following items costs 500 baht per time: registration of a partner, change of partnership or change of investment of a partner, registration of an amendment to the Memorandum of Association before or after the registration of a limited company, registration of amendments to the Articles of Association of a limited company, registration of directors, registration of capital increase or decrease of the capital of a limited company, registration of dissolution of a partnership or a limited company, or registration of other matters. 

        The fee rate for items 1-6 will be reduced by 50% to partnerships and limited companies that submit their registration applications through the electronic juristic person registration system (e-Registration), effective from now until 31 December 2023, to support online transactions and comply with the policy of the digital government.
