Thailand Prepares to Host the “Thailand Space Expo 2025”

The Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) is preparing to host Thailand Space Expo 2025, the country’s flagship exhibition on space technology and geo-informatics. Scheduled for October 16 to 18 on the 7th floor of ICONSIAM in Bangkok, the event will highlight the growing role of space technology in everyday life and present new opportunities within the expanding space industry.

The expo is expected to bring together key figures from both the public and private sectors, including industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and space enthusiasts. Exhibits and sessions will cover recent developments in space exploration, applications of satellite data, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

As a regional platform in Southeast Asia, Thailand Space Expo 2025 has been developed to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange on a scale comparable to global events like the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), while providing local accessibility for participants.

Dr. Pakorn Apaphant, Executive Director of GISTDA, noted that the expo will demonstrate how space-based technologies contribute to economic growth and innovation. Invitations have been extended to international organizations, including those from the United States, China, and India.

The event also provides a valuable opportunity for students and recent graduates to engage with professionals and potential employers in the space sector, helping to cultivate future talent and support national development through innovation. Further updates will be shared via GISTDA’s official Facebook page and online channels.
