Discussions are expected to cover security cooperation, including efforts to tackle transnational crime, the creation of a Halal Task Force to align food standards, and expanding trade in agricultural and fishery products. Tourism promotion and economic collaboration are also on the agenda as both nations work to increase bilateral trade and investment.
The two sides will also discuss advancing regional economic integration through ASEAN, seeking to bolster their positions in response to global economic challenges and shifting trade dynamics.
The new Leaders’ Consultation is expected to open a new chapter in Thailand-Indonesia relations, with both governments preparing to elevate their partnership to a strategic level to build stronger political, economic, and social ties in the years ahead.
