TAT Highlights Thai Tourism at London Event

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), London Office, led by Director Worapa Angkasirisap, is showcasing Thai tourism at “Thailand Showcase 2025,” a three-day event taking place from June 27 to 29 at Lewis Cubitt Square in London. Held to mark 170 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom, the event presents a wide array of Thai cultural attractions, natural destinations, and digital tourism tools to an international audience.
A central attraction at the TAT booth is an AI-powered photobooth that allows visitors to insert themselves into realistic backdrops of popular Thai locations such as Krabi, Nan, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok. The photobooth produces high-resolution, lifelike images that can be instantly downloaded and shared, drawing steady attention from both local attendees and international guests.
In addition to the photobooth, the booth offers English-language brochures and one-on-one travel consultations. TAT staff provide destination recommendations, custom itinerary suggestions, and details on travel programs, catering especially to younger travelers interested in combining culture with modern, tech-forward experiences in Thailand.
The TAT’s presence is part of a Thai representation at the event, which includes the Public Relations Department (PRD) under the leadership of Director-General Sudruetai Lertkasem. The PRD’s “Playful Thainess” exhibit introduces visitors to contemporary Thai culture through interactive media, digital storytelling, and cultural games, reinforcing Thailand’s identity as both innovative and culturally rich.
With tens of thousands of visitors expected over the course of the festival, Thailand Showcase 2025 provides a high-profile platform for Thailand to connect with global audiences, merging tradition and innovation in ways that appeal to modern travelers.
