TCEB Unveils Season 2 of “Yok Team Prachum, Rum Rak Mueang Thai” to Enhance Domestic MICE and Community Growth

The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has launched Season 2 of the “Yok Team Prachum, Rum Rak Mueang Thai” campaign, themed “Inviting Office Teams to Go Off-Site Across Thailand.” The campaign, in partnership with 16 leading organizations, aims to strengthen the domestic MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) sector while promoting sustainable community development.
Mrs. Nichapa Yoswee, TCEB’s Senior Vice President, said the campaign supports TCEB’s 2025 3S strategy: Stay Longer – Spend More – See You Again. She emphasized that a strong domestic MICE market is key to national economic growth. By the end of March 2025, the sector had generated over 12.6 million travelers and more than 42 billion baht in revenue, up 15.94% from the previous year.
Following the success of the 2024 campaign, which attracted nearly 15,000 participants and generated 130 million baht in impact, Season 2 introduces six activity formats based on three core concepts: community engagement, health promotion, and sustainability. It also encourages off-season travel.
The campaign features a social media review contest for both hosting organizations and MICE operators. Organizations must hold a corporate event outside their home province, lasting at least two days and one night, with a minimum of 20 participants. Activities can include meetings, seminars, training, CSR, or team-building. Participants can win part of 1 million baht in prizes by posting creative and engaging reviews online.
MICE service providers can also compete for awards, including 20,000 baht cash prizes and honorary plaques, in two categories: those with the highest number of participants and those serving the most corporate clients.
DASTA (Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration), a key campaign partner, is offering additional incentives. Participating organizations can win funding to host events in one of DASTA’s nine sustainable tourism areas, designed to highlight community-based experiences through storytelling, local wisdom, and hands-on activities.
The Thai Hotels Association is also supporting the campaign by offering special room rates and event packages for meetings and seminars, aiming to boost regional tourism and income distribution.
The campaign runs until October 31, 2025, with judging split into three periods: now–June 30, July 1–August 31, and September 1–October 31. Interested parties can register at yokteam.tceb.or.th, join the LINE Official Account @yokteam, and follow TCEB Domestic MICE on Facebook.
TCEB expects this year’s campaign to increase participation by 10–15% and help achieve its 2025 target of 26 million domestic MICE travelers and 86 billion baht in revenue. Mrs. Nichapa concluded by emphasizing that the campaign not only supports business growth but also creates lasting benefits for local communities.
